All-natural Indonesian Thousand-Layer Cake and Triple Delight Cake
Euforia Confections was started in January, 2011 by Kartika Castonguay to recreate the cakes she baked with her mother back home in Indonesia. Euforia's cakes are made entirely with all-natural ingredients (and are also all gluten free). Each cake is hand made and requires delicate precision and care to achieve the perfect texture and flavor.
Euforia's thousand-layer cake originates from the old colonial Indisch-Nederlands community, where it was known as "spekkoek" or "lapis legit." This cake was regarded as a "luxury good" and was routinely eaten on special occasions. Euforia's artisan thousand-layer cake follows our traditional Indonesian family recipe. It comes in three unique flavors:spice, vanilla, and lemon. There are also a variety of sizes -- ranging from individually wrapped slices (that make a great snack) to un cut party cakes.
Euforia's new triple delight is a moist and buttery layered cake. The triple delight cake has three layers: vanilla-chocolate-vanilla, with caramel butter between each layer. It has a rich, buttery flavor with a light,delicate texture. Believe us, this decadent dessert is a slice of delight!
