Founder Kartika Castonguay takes a Zen-like approach to baking that focuses on respect and care at every step of the process. After Kartikas mother passed away, Kartika felt compelled to recreate the cakes they baked together back home in Indonesia. She takes pride in sharing the subtle flavor and texture of her mothers spice cake recipe with others.
